Here is a recent landing page video that I filmed and edited for the website of the awesome folks at Austin Simply Fit. Unlike other fitness training programs, Austin Simply Fit provides 30 minute, 1-on-1 or semi-private training sessions which are truly personal, and tailor-made to fit your goals.
This project was a blast and I enjoyed the quality of effort that each athlete, trainer, and client put into this experience.
I filmed this one take shot last night at the Art is Cool art exhibit in Austin, TX with my Galaxy Note 4 smart phone and the powerful DJI Osmo. This art exhibit was the 141th of over 500 art exhibits showcasing local art at the Annual Big Medium's East Austin Studio Tour (East).
Art is Cool put together a collection of visual works representing pop culture, the deep south, stereotypes, lived experiences, & self-reflexivity.
I was having a conversation with a couple at the Art is Cool exhibit and asked if they would be interested in creating a spontaneous video of them walking around the exhibit looking at the various pieces of art on display. I enjoy spontaneous video/photo shoots and as I followed the two around the exhibit, I was enthralled with that child like feeling of painting on a blank canvas that first time with water colors or riding a bike in a cool breeze after a long sweltering summer day in Texas.
I love the spontaneity that the DJI Osmo provides for those spontaneous shots in the moment while getting a smooth cinematic shot similar to those you find in higher end equipment and I am excited to see the shots I will get out of this device in the near future.
